Birthday Parties at the Y!

Host your child's next birthday party at the Y! We offer Swim Parties, Gym Parties, Playground & Pavilion Parties and more.

All Birthday Parties are provided a room with chairs, tables, a TV, and party supply storage. Bring a cake and food to celebrate with your friends and family!


Celebration Information

All Parties Include

  • A Party Facilitator that will assist you and your guests while at the YMCA.
  • The use of the full Community Room or Pavilion for the entire party time.

Days & Times to Celebrate

  • Saturdays: 12:00PM-2:00PM & 3:00PM-5:00PM
  • Sundays: 11:00AM-1:00PM or 12:00PM-2:00PM

 

Reserving your Celebration

  • Complete the Birthday Party Request form below to begin the reservation process.
  • If the requested date is available, Youth and Family staff will email a link to the parent to reserve and pay for the party. Full payment is due at that time; cost includes a non-refundable $50 deposit. Payment receipt will serve as your party confirmation.
  • If a party must be cancelled after completing the reservation, amount will be refunded minus the $50 non-refundable deposit.
  • Once a party date and time is confirmed, the party cannot be cancelled or changed due to a YMCA event. The YMCA can cancel or rearrange a party date due to failure to pay on time, weather conditions, or other instances where the YMCA feels it is an extreme emergency.

Swim Party Information

2 hour party (Parties include up to 20 participants. Participants do not include guests that are not actively participating in the activity.)
Members $180 | Non-Members $210
Participants will spend 1 hour in the Aquatics Center and the remaining time will be spent in the full Community Room (parent/host directed activities). Please be sure to review the Aquatic Center Guidelines below.

  • Swimming will be during open swim time, therefore other people may be in the pool.
  • All children ages 12 years and younger will be provided a colored wristband based on their swimming ability. To receive a yellow or green band, youth must pass a swimming skills assessment. Guests may opt out of the assessment and will receive a red band. Plan to have at least one adult in the pool, within arm’s reach, for every 3 children under the age of 12. Please refer to our Test, Mark & Protect Flyer for complete program details. 
  • If a party guest already has a band color notated on their account, please ask the parents to stop at the Membership Desk before the party to get the child’s band.
  • ONLY US Coast Guard approved Life Jackets are permitted. Children needing assistance must be accompanied in the pool by an adult.
  • Only goggles covering the eyes will be permitted. No snorkel masks or pool toys.
  • Children not yet toilet trained need to wear a swimming diaper. Regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers can be purchased at the Membership Services Desk for $2.00.
  • If the pool your party is using would need to be closed, you will be asked to move your party to one of the other pools. If the whole Aquatics Center is closed for any reason the Facilitator will suggest other activities in the Gymnasium. A refund will not be given.
  • The use of still/video cameras in the Aquatics Center is prohibited, including cell phones.
  • No outdoor footwear on deck. (Water shoes & flip flops are permitted).
Gym Party Information

2 hour party (Parties include up to 20 participants. Participants do not include guests that are not actively participating in the activity.)
Members $180 | Non-Members $210
Participants will spend 1 hour in the Gymnasium and the remaining time will be spent in the full Community Room (parent/host directed activities). Please select two gymnasium activities below.

  • Basketball: Participants will have the opportunity to use our age appropriate sized
    basketballs and participate in a half-court basketball game using one of the basketball hoops. Participants can choose to play an organized game of basketball, or other games like HORSE or KnockOut.
  • Gym Jamboree: (1-5 years old) This activity is made for our youngest birthday participants and will include different movement games and activities. A full gym court will be set up for them to explore and play including our popular parachute and obstacle course. Many of our gym jamboree favorite activities will be offered for all the participants to try! Best paired with Kids Clubhouse!
  • Kids Clubhouse: (12 years and younger). Participants can climb, slide and much more! No shoes allowed; socks required. Best paired with Gym Jamboree for younger participants!
  • Soccer: Participants will have the opportunity to use our age appropriate sized soccer balls along with soccer net. Depending on the age and desires of the participants, this activity can be an organized soccer game with children split into teams, or can be various other activities such as shooting, passing, etc.
  • Scooter Hockey: (Limited to 12 participants at a time.) Participants will use our square floor scooters along with small hockey sticks and a plastic disc to participate in a hockey game.
  • Scooters: (Limited to 12 participants at a time.) Participants will use our square floor scooters to participate in races or their own free play activity.
Playground & Pavilion Party

2 hour party (Parties include up to 60 participants. Participants do not include guests that are not actively participanting in the activity.)
Members $180 | Non-Members $210
Participants will spend 2 hours outside at our Pavilion and Playground (parent/host directed activities).
(In the event of inclement weather, party will be moved in to the Community Room and host will select two gymnasium activities, available above)


Please note:

  • There is no electricity at the pavilion.
  • The Playground will remain available to the community, the Pavilion will be closed off to non-party guests.
  • Alcohol and pets are not permitted on the property.

 

 

Facility Rental Information

  • To schedule a Facility Rental, please submit a Facility Rental Request form (form found below) and a Y representative will be in contact.
  • Meeting Rooms available: Conference Room, ½ Community Room, and Full Community Room.
  • Facility rentals are available to members and non-members who are part of an organization for non-profit events only.
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance: A Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI), naming the Butler County Family YMCA as additionally insured may be required in the amount of the group’s maximum liability coverage (minimum $1,000,000.00).
  • A Facility Rental Request form must be submitted to begin the reservation process.
