2018 YMCA Annual Support Campaign: Opening Doors to a Stronger Community. You can make a donation to the campaign online. Donations are also accepted in-house.
Please allow me to introduce myself. I am the new Development Director for the Butler County Family YMCA. After many stressful years working in corporate America I absolutely love serving this amazing non-profit organization and I’m so proud of all the work that is done at the Y to strengthen communities in Butler County. In 2017, through our Annual Support Campaign, we provided more than $279,000 in financial aid towards access to programs and memberships impacting thousands of individuals in need of help in our county. This year’s campaign goal is $350,000. When someone receives access to a YMCA program or help with their membership it creates an opportunity for a lifestyle change. Through various Y programs and our warm, welcoming atmosphere, recipients are lifting themselves up and gaining confidence in their ability to succeed on many levels. Our programs span several categories from youth development and chronic disease prevention, to active senior lifestyles and addiction support. Although there are many touched by our Annual Support Campaign each year, there is so much more we would like to accomplish.
We have many new and worthy programs that we are offering in 2018 for those in need and we would be thrilled if you would choose to provide a special donation this year. A key focus of the Butler County Family YMCA is to help underserved area youth create a strong foundation so they can be prepared for the day when they will carry responsibility for the lives and welfare of others.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the Annual Support Campaign with you in more detail. Please feel free to reach out to me!

Board Member Testimonial: “Why I give to the Y”
“Butler County’s diversity has been an inspiration to me for the over twenty years I’ve lived here. Our community is comprised of a population that comes from near and far and, certainly has a wide range of economic situations. Undoubtedly, the Lord has blessed my family. And it’s the unflinching mission of the Butler County Family YMCA that motivates me to commit my time, treasure and talents toward the cause of providing support to those in our community who need it most!” -Jim Carr
Ways to Give
Donating online is a simple secure way to give your gift. If you choose this option, all you need to do is click the Donate Now button and you will be prompted to a secure webpage where you can insert your information.
Gifts in Honor of or in Memory of…
Gifts given in honor of someone or in memory of a loved one provide financial support to the Butler County Family YMCA, but they also show how much you care. When you give a gift such as this, simply designate who you are honoring or memorializing and their contact information or next of kin contact information. The YMCA will then send them a letter informing them about your generosity and thoughtfulness.
Ambassador’s Club (Those who give $1,000 or more)
By joining the Ambassador’s Club, you make a powerful statement about the value of the YMCA in people’s lives and you inspire others to give more generously themselves.
The Banner Recognition Program is our special way of saying thank you to our donors and serves as a visual reminder of the contributions that make a difference in our community.
Banners will be displayed on the gymnasium wall at the branch of your choice for one year. You choose the personalization of your banner – include your name, a child’s name, a loved one, an organization name … you can decide!
