Butler County Family YMCA Holds Annual Meeting; New Board Members Elected
The Butler County Family YMCA held its Annual Meeting in May at the Atrium in Prospect.
Board President, Mr. Larry Black reviewed the Organization’s Strategic Plan and gave insight into the direction of the organization.
Former Pittsburgh Steeler Charlie Batch spoke on his experiences while playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and on his personal connection with the YMCA.
Ms. Tammy Schuey gave an overview on the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign which provides YMCA memberships and programs to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. To date, about 57% of the campaign’s goal has been met.
New Board Members were elected for the Butler County Family YMCA Board of Directors, Butler YMCA and Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA Board of Managers and employees who had 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 35 years of service were recognized.
New or renewing Butler County Family YMCA Board of Directors Members include: Larry Black, Jim Carr, and Jeff Tarker.
New or renewing Butler YMCA Board of Managers include: Frank Betres, Rich Daugherty, Ed Fink, Tracy Hack, Chris Lunn, and Bob Todd.
New or renewing Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA Board of Managers include: Adam Auchey, Judy Weisseg, and Beth Zupsic.
Outgoing Board Members were recognized: Carl Benjamin, Jim Carr, Larry Intihar, and John Marshall.
