Case for YMCA Camp/ARMCO Park Capital Campaign YMCA Camp/ARMCO Park is a facility that is, first and foremost, a YMCA Camp, while still offering public recreational opportunities. In addition, the facility would celebrate the family- and community-oriented attitude that was a tradition of ARMCO, a steel mill that began operations in Butler in 1927. Further, YMCA Camp/ARMCO Park will provide week-long camping experiences that will encompass athletics, arts and humanities, and environmental learning, while facilitating opportunities for children with special needs. |
